Experienced, highly motivated FNP seeking PMHNP clinical preceptor for exposure across the lifespan experience

Hi, I am seeking an enthusiastic PMHNP preceptor who has strong clinical judgement, demonstrates competency across the life span, and, most importantly, has cultural humility. I successfully and confidently complete 150 hours in seven weeks for a total of five experiences as part of my advanced clinical training in an accredited PMHNP graduate program at Northern Kentucky University. I am slated to begin my clinical experience on 5/11/2026. I have unrestricted licensure and DEA certifications in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania; however, PA is not in agreement with NKU. I am willing to travel to have the opportunity to learn from you.

Under the supervision of a PMHNP or other approved psychiatric provider, I will complete structured clinical hours focused on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, differential diagnosis using DSM-5-TR criteria, medication management, psychotherapy integration, and interprofessional collaboration. The preceptor’s role includes clinical oversight, mentorship, and evaluation of clinical performance in accordance with program and accreditation standards.

I have been a FNP since 2013 and felt led to earn this certification so I may be of better service to my community, being able to offer resources and knowledge to this deserving population who requires respect, expertise and kindness to heal.
