Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Internship and Post-Grad Fellowship to Contract-Hire program offers a unique pathway for aspiring providers to transition from clinical training to professional practice within a holistic, integrated care environment. Open to current Massachusetts residents holding an active RN license, this program requires a commitment to a hybrid service model encompassing both in-person and telehealth delivery. We pride ourselves on an NP-led mentorship structure that empowers clinicians to advance community health through culturally sensitive care across the lifespan. Participants benefit from an immersive clinical internship with exposure to multidisciplinary teams—including APRNs, PhDs, and LCSWs—followed by a guaranteed two-year paid Contractor Fellowship for successful graduates upon licensure. Throughout the program, you will gain diverse experience across CBHI, outpatient, and inpatient settings, ensuring you develop the expertise needed to treat child, adolescent, adult, and older adult populations effectively.

JENS Wellness is a private outpatient telehealth psychiatric practice that serves as a clinical training site for Nurse Practitioner students seeking real-world experience in modern psychiatric care. Our preceptorship program is designed to prepare NP students to confidently and safely practice in outpatient mental health and telepsychiatry settings. Students train under the supervision of Sheeba Samuel, PMHNP-BC, APRN, and gain exposure to a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorders.

Busy outpatient psychiatry care including telehealth, in-person and interventional psychiatry

This rotation would provide student NP of psychiatry with a unique blend of learning experiences. The setting provides psychotherapy, medication management and psychiatric evaluations both in-person and remotely in Florida. Additionally, students would also be exposed to in-person interventional psychiatry for the treatment of severe treatment depression through the use of TMS, Spravato, nasal and IV ketamine treatments.

Work at Audie Murphy VA hospital. Offer preceptorship in Adult Gerontology Acute Care.

Currently see veterans. Keep in mind process at VA for preceptorship approval may take up to 6 months.

Long Term Care and Post Acute Care

Provide primary care to patients living in long term care, assisted living and independent living facilities Provide acute care to fragile elderly in long term care including pain management, diabetes management, acute illness and other specialties as they arise.

This opportunity would allow a student to understand the importance of kidney disease and preliminary treatment that can be incorporated and managed through family medicine before sending a referral.

Hello there! I currently work in an urgent care in Pawtucket, RI. I work 12 hour shifts during the week and 8 hours every other weekend. We see all ages from infant to senior adult. We do Xrays, DOT certifications, minor surgical procedures, STD testing, general physicals, etc. It is a great place to learn and see many different diagnosis and treatments.

Urgent care is open 9-830 weekdays and 8-430 weekends.
