NPGS Board Member Openings

NPGS Members,

The Nurse Practitioner Group of Spokane has board of director openings for 2024/2025.

Don’t worry if you’ve never been on a board or held an official position! Our board of directors has many seasoned members who provide their wealth of knowledge to support and train. 

Being on the board has many benefits to include:

• Free membership to NPGS during time active on board
• Free swag
• Opportunities for developing professional and personal contacts in the Spokane ARNP community.
• Supporting the mission of promoting of education and legislation affecting nurse practitioners.
• Participation in a board role supports professional advancement through leadership, organization and communication skills. Translation: Looks good on a resume’!

The open positions include elected officers and appointment committee members. Active members will have opportunity to vote with election results announced at the 2024 Spring Education Event. Members will assume duties by July 1, 2024.

The board of director meetings meet a minimum of four times per year but typically meet monthly with at least one business meeting per fiscal year.  Meetings are planned to be either in-person or virtual.

• President Elect (1) Elected
• Secretary (1) Elected
• Education Committee (4 open positions) Appointed

**Must be a current member in good standing to be considered to be on board. Memberships which have lapsed may be renewed prior to consideration.
