Our next Pacific Northwest ASPMN CE program will be on Thursday, March 30th, 530 – 700pm Pacific and includes 1.8 CNE, with 1.8 pharmaceutical CNE for APN’s.

Buprenorphine for Pain Management

Objectives:
- Participants will be able to describe the mechanism of action of buprenorphine
- Participants will be able to state 2 safety factors related to the use of buprenorphine and respiratory depression
- Participants will be able to describe 2 considerations that impact the use of buprenorphine in acute pain management
- Participants will be able to describe 2 considerations that impact the use of buprenorphine in chronic pain management
The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 1.8 CNE applicable for RN, LPN, or LMHT relicensure and 1.8 CNE pharmaceutical contact hours for APN.
