NPGS Spring Education Workshop

Hope this message finds everyone in good health!
We are excited about our upcoming spring education workshop scheduled for 3-14-2020 at Washington State University. We are privileged to have Sally Miller Ph.D. with Fitzgerald Health and Education Associates (FHEA) as our guest speaker providing 6 CE hours in pharmacology with a focus on mental health and geriatrics. Your Nurse Practitioner Group of Spokane board has been working hard to make this a fun and educational event for you with engaging vendors, great food, and an optional lunchtime presentation featuring physical therapy and back pain!
With the expectation of over 100 people gathering for this event, we are keenly aware of the concern for COVID-19 in Washington State. Fortunately, we have had no confirmed outbreak cases in Spokane. We are working closely with WSU and FHEA and the event will proceed as planned pending a daily evaluation of COVID-19 trends and CDC recommendations. WSU Health and Science campus in Spokane is a location well equipped to support health and hygiene. We are attaching the CDC recommendations and would encourage anyone that feels they have had potential exposure to COVID-19 or has any signs of illness including cough or fever to notify NPGS.
Hope to see you all on Saturday!
