Speakers

Selma Green AGNP-C, WCC

So thrilled to have started my own private practice in Spokane, WA this year! I am now accepting referrals for patients in need of advanced wound care services for chronic non-healing wounds. I an accepting referrals from primary care, home health, and hospice for patients that experience wounds not healing in that 4-6 week expected time-frame. Once reviewed and accepted the patient will receive comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management..all in their own home. I am very excited to collaborate with other providers in the community and provide this important service to patients in the area. In my previous Director of Nursing role, I provided director level leadership and oversight to a 51 bed skilled nursing facility. Established, developed, and implemented policies and procedures for daily operations as well as specialty infection control protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Assigned and delegated nursing responsibilities and oversaw all nursing department operations. Communicated with the medical director, community physicians, stakeholders and other healthcare agencies in relation to patient care and infection control best practices. Worked closely with Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and the Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) to maintain deficiency-free infection control surveys and to manage the care of COVID 19+ patients. I was responsible for staff recruitment and retention, maintaining a departmental budget, and motivated a diverse skilled nursing and rehabilitation department through the setbacks of a pandemic.
